History
The concept of a community website for Logan City was first proposed by the Logan Interagency Network (LIN) in 2005 with community consultation revealing the need for a community website to support collaboration across the various sectors operating throughout the city. Working in conjunction with Logan City Council's Community Development Officer, the LIN have been the driving force behind the development of the LinkingLogan Community Portal.
Aim
LinkingLogan aims to provide all facets of the Logan community with a flexible, effective and efficient web space to connect, collaborate and participate across the city.

LinkingLogan provides a web space to connect and collaborate with other organisations and agencies across Logan City.
LinkingLogan is regularly evaluated and has the ability to evolve in order to meet the needs of the Logan Community. Currently, LinkingLogan has the following features to help you connect to others in Logan City.
- A repository of reports, papers, resources and other information that is relevant and useful. Members have the ability to add to this repository
- A place to find out about networking opportunities with similar people and organisations
- One place to find out about what is happening in Logan City for residents and organisations
- Access to search or add your details to the Logan Community Directory
- Loads of other interesting features such as polls, bing maps, blogs and more.
